Lincolnton - Mr. Jerry Franklin Hallman, 81, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus in Concord.
Jerry was born on October 18, 1943 in Lincoln County, NC a son of the late Junious Webber "June" Hallman, Sr. and Addie Esper Smith Hallman. He was retired from Lincolnton Police Department as a chief investigator. Jerry was a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Lincolnton and also Lincoln Masonic Lodge #137 A.F. & A.M.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Philbeck Hallman; three sisters, Peggy Hall, Betty Seate and Joan Champion; three brothers, Webber, J.L. and Larry Hallman.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Matthew Hallman of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Katelyn Prince (Cory), Serra Hallman, Valen Hallman; three great grandchildren, Zoey Prince, Tobias Prince and Marceline Fischer; a brother Kermit Hallman and wife Terry of Vale. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville with the Rev. Eddie Yount officiating. Masonic Rites will be conducted by Lincoln Masonic Lodge.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Memorials may be made to the church of the donor's choice.
