Sandra Lee Mehigh

Age 85 of Corunna passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11am on Friday, July 11, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Michael O'Brien officiating. Sandra's final resting place will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. With a rosary being prayed at 7pm.

Sandra was born May 26, 1940 in Owosso, the daughter of David and Edith (LaMoine) Bodary.

She graduated from Owosso High School in the graduating class of 1958.

Sandra was an active member in her church community at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a past member of Rosemary Circle. Sandra enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going up north, and would occasionally frequent the casino.

She married her forever best friend Raymond Mehigh at St. Paul Catholic Church on July 9, 1960. They have spent over 64 loving years together.

Sandra loved nothing more than being a mother. She cherished the years raising and caring for her children and eventually her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Raymond Mehigh; children, Kevin (Lori) Mehigh, Kurt (Amie) Mehigh, and Michael (Melissa) Mehigh; son-in-law, Lee Aho; grandchildren; Tyler, Adam, Maddie, Maxwell, Winnifred, Virginia and Oskar Mehigh; brother, Jeffrey (Pat) Bodary; along with several other loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Aho, parents, and brother, David Bodary.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Hazel Findlay Nursing Home and Sparrow Hospital for their loving care of Sandra.
