Christine Rooney passed on from this life July 5th, 2025 in Danbury, CT. She was born in Bronxville, NY to Michael John Kolesar and Eileen Pisco on May 8th, 1973.

Christine dedicated her life to her family. Her four children were her pride and joy. She was so proud of each of them for all of their accomplishments. Christine had a passion for cooking and owned every Pampered Chef product there is. She was always ready to have a party, for any occasion. Christine was a true Bon Jovi fan. If he was in concert, she was in front row. She loved summer vacations, making memories with her family from the beaches to the mountains.

Christine is survived by her loving husband of twenty-two years: James Rooney of New Fairfield, CT.; as well as her children: Connor, Sean, Jamie, and Lily Rooney of New Fairfield, CT.. She is also grieved by her father, Michael Kolesar of Fleming Island, FL. and her mother-in-law: Myra Rooney of Yonkers, NY.. In addition, she is remembered by her siblings: Melissa Kolesar, Michael Kolesar, Valerie Peto (Alex): and her brother-in-law Kevin Rooney (Ann); and her seven nieces and nephews: too numerous to list here, but all very dear to Christine’s heart.
Christine has gone on to reunite with her mother, Eileen Pisco.

A celebration of life gathering in Christine's honor will be held on Friday, July 11th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT.), followed by a reception from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Catholic War Veterans Danbury (2 Shalvoys Ln, Danbury, CT.), where food and drinks will be served. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:00am at St. Gregory Church (85 Great Plain Rd, Danbury, CT), followed by a reception at Lakeside Pub (31 Hayestown Rd, Danbury, CT.).
