Alan Lawrence, 42, was welcomed into Heaven on April 19, 2019. After spending the last 31 years of his life in a wheelchair and living with the challenges of Muscular Dystrophy, he is bound no more by those limitations. His family is enormously grateful for all those who loved him, cared for him, and encouraged him along his journey. We would be honored to have you celebrate his Homegoing with us on Friday, April 26, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home on Beverly Parkway. Visitation at 5:00 and Service at 6:00. Alan was a member of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, a writer of devotionals and a children’s book, an airplane aficionado, and a faithful friend to all who knew him. Alan is preceded in death by his father Richard F. Lawrence, and older brother Frank Lawrence. He is survived by his mother Adele Lawrence; sister Richelle Doney; his beloved nieces and nephew, Julianne Bixler (Mark), Aaron and Christine Doney; and his brother-in-law Nathan Doney. Interment will be held at 2PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 at theCypress Baptist church Cemetery in Cypress, FL.
