Mrs. Robin F. Beyer, age 65, of Hull, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, July 3, at 10:00am, at the Hope Cemetery in Hull. The Rev. Ron Wheeler will officiate. The Oolman Funeral Home in Hull is in charge of arrangements.

Robin Fern, the daughter of Wayne L. and Roszella (Jamison) Friedrichs, was born on November 20, 1959, in Canton, South Dakota. She spent her childhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and was a student at Eugene Field Elementary School, Whittier Middle School, and Lincoln High School. As a young woman, Robin moved to California and later to Arizona before settling in Northwest Iowa in 1993.

She was united in marriage to Richard A. Beyer on March 6, 1996, in Luverne, Minnesota. Together, they made their home on an acreage south of Hull. Robin enjoyed life in the country, where she was able to care for her numerous animals and tend to her garden. She liked canning her produce, cooking, reading, and listening to music. During the summer months, Robin could often be found by their pool, gathered with friends and family. “Rich” passed away on September 5, 2021, in Sioux Center, after more than 25 years of marriage.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, George and Heather Beyer, of Sibley; Richard “Dick” and Nora Beyer, of Chester, South Dakota; and Kathy and Jerry Schemmel, of Alvord; eight grandchildren, Miranda Griffith, Brandon Beyer, Samantha Beyer, Jade De Bey, Kaleb De Bey, Brandee Fluit, Zachary Van Beek, and Dillon Schamber; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Penny and Pat Williams, of Sheldon; and two brothers, Ron Crawford, of Rock Rapids, and Greg Friedrichs, of Miami, Florida; as well as many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leo Hirzel; a brother, Dennis Friedrichs; a sister-in-law, Kathy Crawford; and a niece, Brandie Severson.
