Mamie Mills Gainey,94, of Jacksonville, died October 19, 2018 at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Haw Branch AME Church in Richlands, NC with Dr. A. Ray Frazier officiating. Interment will follow immediately after service in Georgetown Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. She was a Mother at Washington Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, and active in the choir. Survivors include daughters, Mary Andrews and Dorothy Gainey of Jacksonville, NC. Gwendolyn Wright and Kimberly Gainey, of New Bern, NC, and Wanda Canady of Fayetteville, NC. Sons, Glinse Gainey of Jacksonville, NC and Perry Gainey of Maple Hill, NC.
