James "Dick" Hunter Obituary
James Richard "Dick" Hunter passed away April 27, 2025, at age 87.
Dick was born in Carlinville, Illinois to Mary Bown and James Hunter.
He served in the 2nd Armored Division in Fort Hood, Texas from 1961-1963.
He is survived by his daughter Cathy (David) Webb of Wood River; three grandchildren James, Ted and Jonathan Webb.
He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Hunter, son Craig Hunter and parents Mary Elizabeth Hunter and James Hunter.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Wednesday May 21, 2025, in Gallatin, TN.
Graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Brighton Cemetery in Brighton, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to High Point Hospice: 300 Steam Plant Rd. Suite 220 Gallatin, TN 37066.
