In Loving Memory of Carmine Rende
July 16, 1934 – May 19, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carmine Rende, who peacefully departed this life on May 19, 2025, at the age of 90. Cherished husband to Rita. Beloved father of Roberto (Eduarda) and Susanna (Cheyne Collins). Dear grandfather of Lauren, Matthew and Rylan. He will be dearly missed by his sibling; Raffaele (Lina), Eda (Alfredo Canataro), brother-in-law Oscar Cesario, comara Beatrice and compare Franco Cesario and all his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., Toronto) on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church (72 Mansfield Ave., south of College St. on Grace St.) on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, Carmine will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd., at Highway 27).
In memory of Carmine, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
