Willia Dean Weathers, 83, of Salem passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Salem. She was born June 16, 1941, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to David and Willie Mae (Tucker) Young. Willia Dean was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and started every day in the Word of God. She was co-owner of Salem Western Auto Associates with her husband, Jim, who she married in 1961, and was Executive Director of Salem Housing Authority. Willia Dean loved flowers, but most of all cooking for her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Willia Dean is survived by her husband, Jim Weathers; two sons, David and Kevin Weathers; a daughter, Shanda (Allan) Davis; four grandchildren, Hunter, Devan, Jackson and Owen; three great grandchildren, Willa Jo, Tressie and Grey and many more family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Salem United Methodist Church under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
