Marvin (Marv) Wayne Holsenbeck passed peacefully in the comfort of his home on April 26, 2025 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born on July 26, 1950 to Evelyn and W.M. Holsenbeck in Mt. Shasta California.
Marv had many fond memories of working on the family farm and the hard work it took to run the farm. Marv graduated Mt. Shasta High School in 1969 and attended College of the Siskiyous.
After High School Marv had several jobs including working at the McCloud mill and worked in property management in Redding California. Marv was considered a Jack of all trades.
In 1994, Marv married his second wife Debbie (Huston) Holsenbeck and together they spent over 30 years together and enjoyed traveling in their RV with their dogs.
Marv will be remembered for his big heart and humorous personality. After he retired from Frank’s Fuel he liked to stay busy and was often seen fixing things at his wife’s beauty shop or tinkering in his yard. He will be greatly missed.
Marv was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Martin. Marv is survived by his wife Debbie, son Todd (Jennifer) Holsenbeck, his bonus children Jeff (Brenda) Huston, Chad (Danielle) Huston, and Kristina (Matt) Chesler; grandchildren Ethan, Samantha, Courtney, Grant, Grace, Reid, Mia and Clara; and great grandson Myles.
Marv requested that no services be held, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Madrone Hospice.
