Peter D. Parry, of Belle Mead, N.J., passed away April 23, 2025 after a short illness. He was born in 1941 in Rome, N.Y. and was the son of Antoinette and Edwin Parry. Peter was predeceased by his parents, his son Jim and his brother John. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Ellen, his daughter-in-law Cecilia, his grandson Jim, and two nieces and a nephew. 

Peter graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor's degree in physics. He was valedictorian of his class, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a PhD in physics from Princeton University and was elected to Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. He spent his entire career at the Engineering Research Center in Hopewell Township, N.J. He worked on many research projects, published scientific papers and had several patents. 

Peter's greatest pleasure was as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He will certainly be missed.

His service and burial were private.
