Barbara Maria Maitland, lovingly known as Bobbie, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 24, 1949, Bobbie was a beacon of light, faith, and love to all who knew her.

Bobbie was a devoted mother to her daughter Kristen Adelmann and son Chad Adelmann, and a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Alexander and Makaila. She is also survived by her brothers Jack Maitland and Jim Maitland, her sisters Kathy Lassen and Sandi Bishop, and eleven beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Becker Maitland and Victor Inglis Maitland.

Throughout her life, Bobbie embraced many roles with grace and passion. She began her career as a school teacher, nurturing young minds with patience and care. Her creative spirit later led her to become an interior silk floral designer, where she brought beauty and elegance into homes and hearts alike.

Bobbie was also a gifted artist, songwriter, and musician. She wrote and performed her own spiritual music, sang with heartfelt emotion, and played both the keyboard and 12-string guitar. Her music was an extension of her deep faith and a reflection of the joy she found in worship.

A devoted Christian and ordained pastor, Bobbie lived a life of service and devotion to God. She was a true prayer warrior—fervent, faithful, and steadfast in lifting others up through prayer. Her ministry touched countless lives, offering comfort, healing, and encouragement to those in need.

Bobbie’s legacy is one of faith, creativity, and unwavering love. Her life was a testament to the power of grace, and she leaves behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.
