Ainsley Newton Evans Obituary

Ainsley Newton Evans was born on May 25, 1962 in Kinston Jamaica to Mornell Denton (Aunty Grace) and Rodrick Evans (Roy). Ainsley was the first of six children to his mother. After his parents migrated to the US he was sent to live with his grandmother Irene Denton in Chantilly Manchester at the age of six years old. At the age of twelve years old Ainsley migrated to the US to live with his family.

He attended the Timothy Middle School in Roxbury and Brighton High School. After graduating from high school Ainsley attended North Adams College and later went to join the Carpenters Union. Ainsley worked for the carpenters union for over twenty years when he later got sick and had to retire. Ainsley was very good at his job, and helped all his family and neighbors when they needed any capentry work done. Ainsley volunteered back packs, food and clothes for the children in Jamaica every year for the back to school event for Chantilly Primary School.

Ainsley was a man of God, knew his bible inside and out, he could tell you where every scripture was found, of course he is a vine of Irene Denton women of God, whom you had to repeat the “Golden Text” after Sunay Schoolin Jamaica. Ainsley was also a member of Masons and devoted time with them. Ainsley leaves behind to celebrate his life, his loving wife of twenty seven years Jennifer, who took good care of him during his long illness and his six children, daughters Shantaya, Brandi and Netalya and sons, Joshua, Jordan, and Cordero. Ainsley also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, a host of cousins, relatives and friends especially his best friend David Fry who was with him until the end. Big up yourself Fry you was a true friend.

We the Denton, Evans, Tucker and Peters family would like to thank you from the depth of our hearts for your acts of kindness shown during our time of breavment. Your Deeds of love, support, kindness, prayers will never be forgotten.
