Isabelle Marie Meadows Obituary

Isabelle Marie Dallas Meadows, 81, of Elkton, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at her home. She was born September 12, 1943 in Page County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Lindon Raleigh Dallas and Florence Lucas Dallas.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Edward Meadows; brother, Rufus Dallas; sisters, Barbara Dallas, Nancy Cubbage, Pauline Campbell, Allene Orbaugh, Naomi Lucas.


Isabelle attended Victory Baptist Church and Bear Lithia Springs Baptist Church. She loved gardening, cooking, canning. She was a seamstress for over 20 years before retiring from Blue Bell/Wrangler. Isabelle loved going to the Community Center and listening to Blue Grass music. Isabelle loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.


She is survived by her son, Eddie Meadows, Jr. and wife, Pam of Elkton; daughter, Patricia Williams and husband, Steve of Elkton; sister, Elizabeth Comer and husband, Benny of Stanley; grandchildren, Wesley Meadows and wife, Elizabeth, Luke Meadows and wife, Clair, Hannah Linhart and husband, Kevin, Shana Pennington and husband, Mark; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.


A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Bear Lithia Springs Baptist Church in Elkton with Pastor Mark Leatherman and Pastor Teddy Cave officiating. Burial to follow at Jollett Cemetery.


Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Bear Lithia Springs Baptist Church.
