Jonnie "Fonda" Hill passed away peacefully from her life on this earth Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Texarkana, TX. Fonda was a shining light and loved others deeply. She loved nature and was so creative. She was always singing, and those who knew her will carry her voice in their hearts.

She is survived by her children, David Scott Shores and wife Amy, Leslie Bates and husband Ronny; siblings, Stephen Hill, Lynda Rauls, and Paula Evans; her stepchildren; her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other treasured loved ones and friends.

As Fonda's family grieves, they find peace in knowing she is no longer bound to an earthly body and she is now reunited with her beloved parents, JT and Iris Hill; husband, "Sammy" Hendricks; and other beloved family and friends who had gone on before her.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, June 22nd from 1:00PM-2:30PM at First Baptist Church Atlanta in the Fellowship Hall | 306 Baker Street in Atlanta, TX.
