Martha C Ross was born February 9, 1951 to the late Ida and David Harrigan Sr. She departed her life on April 26, 2025 at Wilmington Hospital.

Martha affectionately known as Cookie grew up in Delaware, where she received her education in the public school systems. After attending high school she went to manpower for nurses aide training and received a certificate and later on, she went to people settlement for computer courses, where she also received a certificate of completion. Doing her working years, she worked for Christiana health care and Boston market where she retired from . Martha would just love to sit in the kitchen with her sister helping to the making potato salad, cracking jokes, and spending time with family. Martha especially love, her godchildren, Toni Jones, in the late Maurice Harrigan. As well as all her nieces and nephews, her devoted sister, Veronica Brown, and her devoted niece, Annette Jones.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Richard and Marvin Harrigan Sisters, Ruth, Margaret Doris, and Edith. Her nephew, Teddy Harrigan, and her great nephews Jermaine Meadows and Maurice Harrigan

To cherish her memory, Martha leaves behind her husband, Carl Ross, Her beloved sister, Ronnie, brother, David Harrigan (Eva) Brother Donald who’s whereabouts are unknown, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
