Juana Celeste Calderon Obituary

Juana Celeste Calderón

01/26/2005 —04/26/2025

With deep regret, we are announcing the death of Juana Celeste Calderon.

Juana Celeste was born in Daytona Beach, Florida in January 2005, daughter of

Sara Piza and through adoptive love, Hernan Villanueva. She is survived by her

two much-loved brothers Daniel and Jeremy, who together with their loving

parents, they will miss her greatly and forever.

Celeste will be remembered from members of the St. Paul Catholic School as a

good young woman, active and always ready for challenges. The Basilica of St.

Paul will remember her as an example of service and great disposition; she

collaborated in many ways in the evangelism of adults, young adults and children.

There are many cases of families and people that were touched and helped by

Celeste in various manners, circumstances and moments.

Juanita was an active member of the Juan XXIII movement, like the ministry of

Emaus in Jacksonville, where she left a very large void, since she was a great

example to follow (expressed by her great friends).

Her loving family’s thoughts of Celeste: There are so many memories from the

past; remembering how her life was, a young girl with a big heart, always willing

and glad to help out her brothers and sisters in a loving manner, offering that

unconditional love as a daughter. Her mother says: “I wouldn’t trade you with

anyone or anything, how we enjoyed being together and accompanying each other,

you have left us with the example of life”. Like a dad, Hernan says “I feel proud

for having shared unforgettable memories with you, these moments will always

remain engraved in my memory.

So much for her family, her friends and all who met and truly got to know Celeste,

she has left a major hole with her departing, but she has left beautiful memories that

will always remain in their hearts. As the church fills us with hope for

Resurrection, it is that hope that will strengthen us and will give us the peace we

need.

See you soon Juanita Celeste, we will see each other when God calls us into his

presence. Thanks so much to everyone for your support and for being there with us.
