It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Martin Joseph (Marty) Sullivan Jr.

Marty dedicated his life to helping others.
He was well known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by his family,
friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
Born on September 12, 1946, in Manhattan, New York, he was the beloved son of Margaret and Martin Sullivan Sr.
Marty was a cherished member of our community and a friend of Bill for 38 years.
He proudly served in the United States Navy, NMCB10 (The Seabees), for 6 years during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home,
Marty continued to serve others as a firefighter in the Fire Department for the City of New York.
He was a dedicated employee of General Motors for over 32 years and a proud union man. He made significant contributions to his
field, always striving for excellence and inspiring those around him.
Marty’s impact extends far beyond his field, he was a revered founding member of the 8744Clubhouse
and helped hundreds of people in countless ways throughout his time
there. Most recently, he earned an award for his contributions as a committed
mentor to Veterans in the Bucks County Veterans Treatment Court Program.
Marty was a devoted husband to his late wife, Patricia Sullivan. They shared a beautiful
life together. Marty loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with Pat, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
They traveled all across the United States and visited many of the world’s greatest wonders.
Marty had a remarkable ability to bring joy and warmth to any gathering, leaving a lasting impression on all who encountered him.
He was always wearing a smile and his Giants or Phillies gear, whether it was a winning or losing season.
Marty absolutely loved giving gifts year-round, and playing the role of Santa over the holidays for community events and friends or
family gatherings.
He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building everything from tool sheds to dollhouses for his grandchildren.
Marty is survived by his stepchildren, Denise and Michael, Walter, his 3 grandchildren,
6 great grandchildren, and his sister Helen. He is preceded by his stepdaughter
Deborah, brother Michael and sister Jean Ann.
