Lacey Grace Slowiak was born on May 21, 1991 in Marshfield, WI to Diane and Terry Slowiak. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorp, WI.

Lacey attended Thorp Schools through her freshman year. She then moved to Burnsville, MN when her father started a job at the VA Hospital. She attended sophomore and junior year in Burnsville. When her father became disabled, her family relocated to Chippewa Falls, WI and Lacey graduated from Chippewa Falls Sr. High.

Lacey loved music and enjoyed going to concerts with her family and friends, especially watching her brother play guitar with his band. She was artistic and had a flair for fashion, hair and makeup which was evident in her sketches and drawings.

She was especially soft-hearted when it came to animals and loved her pets, particularly her rabbit Bun Bun and her dog Shadow.

Her pride and joy were her daughters Desirae Diane and Izzibell RaeAnn she shared with her partner Devin Budd.

Lacey was a patient at Trempeleau Co. Healthcare Center in Whitehall, WI. She had a tentative release date of May 2 but unexpectedly passed away on April 26 while in their care.

Lacey is survived by her mother Diane Slowiak, her daughters Desirae Diane and Izzibell RaeAnn, partner Devin Budd, brothers Aaron Wojt, Eric Wojt, sister Angela Doro, stepsisters Stacey Slowiak and Ronda Landress, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Terry Slowiak, Aunt Sharon Schmitz, Uncle Jim Staffeil, cousin Michael Slowiak, grandmothers and grandfathers.

A memorial will be held at Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls, WI on Sat., May 17. Visitation is at 1:00 and service at 2:00. There will be a lunch served after the service.

Rest in peace Lacey. You were taken from us too soon. We will love and miss you until we see you again in Heaven.
