William Moody Macomson, age 81, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on April 27, 2025, peacefully at home.
The family is hosting a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date.
Born on April 24, 1944 in Charlotte, NC, William was the son of the late Charles Davis and Inez Elizabeth Ware. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he served for two years and went on to retire from Style Craft Packaging where he worked as a machine operator for many years. He enjoyed collecting NASCAR memorabilia, watching cowboy movies, playing with his great grandchildren and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving is his children, William “Doby” Macomson (Doris), Tina Ann Elms, Timothy Wayne Macomson (Pamela), Amanda Ruth Therrell; sibling, Elizabeth Smith; grandchildren, Kris, BJ, McKala, Tori, Mason, TJ, Maddy, Mitchell; and 12 great-grandchildren.
