Sharon Marion Sharpe

(Nee Vardy)

July 14, 1959 – April 26, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sharon Sharpe announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 65 Years. 

She was a beautiful soul, hard working caregiver to many. Honest to a fault. All who knew her will miss her spark in their lives.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her James “Jim” Sharpe. Sharon and Jim were married May 21, 1983. Forty-one (41) years. Almost reached forty-two (42) years of Bliss. My darling wife, love you to the moon and back.

Her (our) children: Adam and Annie (Rachel); brother Darrell (sister-in-law Regina Hepditch) Vardy and as Sharon would say every time when they facetimed “where’s the princess?” their cat Kali, whom she adored; sister Sheila (brother-in-law Ian) Bell; sisters-in-law: Brenda (brother-in-law Scott) Purchase and Gail (brother-in-law Joe) Chartier; nieces and nephews: Brian Bell, Heather Perez Diaz and children Eren and Antonio, Melissa Chartier (Yuri) and children Maggie and Zoe and Robin Chartier (Melissa) and child Zakary; as well as other relatives and friends. 

She was predeceased by her parents John and Annie Vardy, parents-in-law Jim and Winnifred Sharpe, brother-in-law Gary Sharpe and nephew-i-law Rafael Perez Diaz.

The Sharpe family would like to thank the first responders NL Health for being professional in Sharon’s time of need. We would like to thank Dr. Thistle and Coleen for being there when she needed them, expert care over the years. Dr. Fudge, Dr. Brazil and the wonderful nurse Cheyanne who was our angel in Sharon’s final journey to fly with the angel’s.

Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal funeral service at this time.
