MUNCIE – Jenna R. Shaffer, 19, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, April 27, 2025.

She was born on August 9, 2005 in Muncie, the daughter of Barbara June (Campbell) Moore and James Matthew Shaffer and attended Muncie Central High School.

She enjoyed camping and being outside.

Surviving are her father, Matti Shaffer of Muncie; her adoptive mother, Dawn Bilbrey of Muncie; two brothers, Tim Moore of Huntington and Marcus Moore of Orrville, OH; three sisters, Elizabeth Shaffer of Albany, Carrie Shaffer of Marion and Erica Shaffer of Warsaw; great-grandmother, Berylda Wilson of Muncie; grandmother, Angela Patterson of South Carolina; aunts, Karla Lance of Muncie, Lori Ferguson-Kapp of Marion, Pamela Taylor of Marion, Deloris Johnson (husband, Pat Autry) of Bluffton and Tonya Dabbs of Muncie; uncles, Jack Campbell (wife, Vickey) of Marion and David Shaffer (Melissa) of South Carolina; and very special family member, Beth Taylor of Muncie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara June Moore; grandfather, Paul Patterson; great-grandfather, James H. Wilson; cousin, Terry Lance, Jr.; and one aunt, Patricia Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
