Richard J. Cozza, age 86, of Skokie, died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Endeavor Health Evanston Hospital in Evanston. Devoted son of the late Joseph and Madeline, née Spera, Cozza, he was born November 27, 1938, in Chicago. Retired Vice Principal of Joyce Kilmer Elementary School in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia, née Wagner; loving father of Amy; dear brother of the late Joseph Cozza.
Visitation, Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Funeral, Friday, May 9, at 9:45 a.m., from the funeral home, for Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Peter Church of Ss. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish, 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Interment, Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
