William "Bill" Robert Breedlove III

<p>In loving memory, William Robert Breedlove III (familiar to most as Bill) took his final breath on May 3, 2025, at the age of 59 surrounded by loved ones in San Marcos, Texas. He was born on March 13, 1966, in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Hays High School, Bill worked in vendor sales for several years. He later became an interstate long haul truck driver. After stewarding truck driving for several years, Bill decided to help mentor young children and became a school bus driver for Poteet, Hays and Wimberley school districts. He enjoyed the interaction and was faithful in making sure all K through 12 students arrived on time and safe.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill loved his family and enjoyed takin his sons on long haul truck rides. Bill enjoyed music, sports, WWE wrestling and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys football fan. He loved animals and had an unwavering affection for dogs. Bill enjoyed dove hunting with his father and volunteering with local charities. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones, and making jokes with almost everyone.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Robert Breedlove Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill is survived by his children Leah L. Mandujano, William R. Breedlove IV, Brae E. Breedlove; mother Jackie Breedlove; sisters Bridget A. McGowen (Robert McGowen) and Brenda L. Breedlove; brothers Benjamin J. Breedlove (Allison Breedlove) and Jonathan B. Breedlove (Lesia R. Breedlove); and three grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>The celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at Chapel in the Hills, 14601 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, Texas 78676. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Donation Processing Center, Autism Speaks, P.O. Box 37148, Boone, IA 50037-0148 or online at autismspeaks.org.</p><p><br></p>
