Monica Mary Barnett, a beloved wife, mother, dedicated nurse,

and devout christian, passed away unexpectedly on April 26th,

2025 at the age of 65. Born on November 2, 1959 in Brooklyn,

NY. Monica brought a warmth and kindness wherever she went,

leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished

forever.

Monica's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and

commitment to helping others. After earning her LPN degree in

nursing, she found immense joy in her work at Arms Acres in

Carmel, NY, where she provided care and comfort to countless

individuals. She also enjoyed bible study with her friend, Jo.

Monica leaves behind, her loving husband John (Honey bear), her

son, George Ducady, her cousin Mary Ricci,as well as her

children, her stepson, Charles Barnett, her step daughter, Regina

Mackenzie, her grandson, Tyler Mackenzie, her grandson, Hunter

Mackenzie, her granddaughter Julia Mackenzie, and her great

grandson, Onyx Stewart, many other relatives and friends. Also

her loving dog, Binx.

Monica will be dearly missed by all, especially her husband John.
