Leslie Anne Morell Obituary

Leslie Morell, 78, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Leslie will be remembered for her quiet strength, creativity, and unwavering love for her family.

She was the resilient force that kept everyone moving forward, and her presence and smile lit up the room. She was an inspiration to all who met her and loved by everyone whose lives she touched.

Leslie was the eldest daughter of Thad and Kathryn Froebe of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She met her husband of 53 years, Mark Morell, in Gainesville, Florida, where they welcomed their first daughter, Corie, before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, where their youngest daughter, Molly, was born. Together, Leslie and Mark spent over 40 years in the music industry as owners of the road case manufacturing company Nashville Custom Case, before retiring in 2017. Leslie and Mark moved to Lake Worth, Florida in 2021 to enjoy their retirement in the sunshine.

Leslie’s life was full of music, laughter, and love. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and embroidery, which allowed her to express her creativity. She also loved cooking and baking, pouring her heart into meals and treats shared with loved ones. She loved listening to her husband play his guitar, a cherished activity that highlighted the bond they shared.

Summers often found Leslie strolling the shores of St. George and St. Simons islands gathering seashells. She had a special talent for always spotting the good ones.

She loved Denzel Washington movies and never missed a chance to cheer for her Tennessee Titans. Above all, her greatest joy came from the special moments spent with her four grandchildren, whom she adored.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Mark; her daughters, Corie Morell Martin (Clinton Lewis) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Molly Anne Cooke (Gregory Cooke) of Midway, Georgia; her grandchildren, Sofia and Morgan Martin, and Benjamin and Callie Cooke; her siblings, Kathy, T.A., Jayne, and Beth; and her two cats Louie and Ella. She was preceded in death by her father, Thad; her brother, Mark; and her mother, Kathryn.

Leslie lived her life in quiet service to others. To that end, no public service will be held. In her memory, donations can be made to the American Stroke Association to support stroke survivors and their caregivers: http://bit.ly/44d9mAd
