Wanda Ruth Scott Obituary
New Castle - Wanda Ruth Scott, 75, of rural New Castle, passed away at her home while surrounded by family on Wednesday evening, April 23rd, 2025. A daughter of the late Gene and Doris (Sexton) Arthur, Wanda was born on May 20th, 1949, in New Castle, Indiana.
She worked as a dietary technician at the New Castle State Hospital until her retirement. In her leisure time, Wanda enjoyed reading, mushroom hunting, long walks, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Scott. They were married in Laurel, Indiana; 2 children, Doris Moffit and Charles Scott.
She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Scott, who passed away in 1998; 2 brothers, Mike and Larry Arthur.
There are no services planned for Wanda at this time. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with Wanda's cremation.
