He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Alice Cothes; his parents, Linda Pyle Cothes and Ronald
Cothes; and his sisters, Stacy Miller and Tracy Sapp.
Scott was a talented mechanic and artist with a generous heart and a deep love for his family, friends, and dogs, Bella and Bluie. He had a gift for fixing just about anything — from engines to hearts.
He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength.
