Ashley M. Taylor passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2025 at the age of 46 after battling breast cancer for almost 9 years. She was born October 18th 1978 in Ft Myers, FL to Michael and Mary Ann (Salmaggi) Rohlk.

She married her lifelong companion, Christopher Taylor in 2006. They made their home in Omaha, NE until 2007, Scottsdale, AZ from 2007 to 2014 and finally in Frisco, TX until 2025.

Ashley graduated from the University of Florida in 2001 and attended the University of Nebraska attaining her Master’s (2005) and Education Specialist (2009) degrees in School Psychology. She completed her school psychology internship at the Glendale Elementary School District in Arizona in 2009 and was employed as a School Psychologist at the Paradise Valley Unified School District from 2009 until 2014. In 2014 she made the decision to stay home and be a mom to her three wonderful children.

Ashley’s greatest joy came in motherhood as she poured her heart and soul into raising her three children. Ashley loved watching and being involved in her children’s growth and learning; she developed a passion for soccer so that she could encourage them as they played and was there to support them in all of their other endeavors no matter what challenge was thrown at her. Some of her more recent hobbies included yoga, meditation, juicing, and researching holistic treatments for cancer. Ashley enjoyed beach vacations, traveling multiple times to Maui, Oahu, the Big Island of Hawaii as well as Destin, the Grand Cayman Islands, and Turks and Caicos. Though Ashley will be deeply missed, she will remain forever in our hearts and her kindness, strength, thoughtfulness and humor will be carried on through her children.

Ashley is survived by her husband Christopher, children Emma (17), Parker (15) and Collin (11), sister Courtney Rohlk and parents Michael and Mary Ann Rohlk.

At Ashley’s request, there will be no public viewing or visitation as her wishes were for cremation. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or donations to societies, Ashley wished for donations to assist in securing her children’s education.
