Pejo Alandzak Obituary

Pejo Alandzak, 67, of Gloucester, passed away on April 27, 2025, after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Pejo will always be remembered for his kindness, and love for his family.

Born on April 9, 1958, in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pejo was the son of Marijan Alandzak and Andja Pejazic.

Known for his quiet strength, steady presence, and the pride he took in the simple joys of life. He had a talent for fixing vehicles, and a deep love for working outdoors - tending to his chickens and garden with care and dedication. Pejo enjoyed long oceanside rides with his wife by his side. He was quite the jokester and loved to joke around with his grandchildren and lit up any chance he got to see them.

Pejo is survived by his wife, Bozica Alandzak; his son, Ivan and wife Megan Alandzak; and his daughter, Ivana and son-in-law to be Joseph Joyal. He is also survived by his grandchildren Anton, Natalie and Daniella, and his many siblings residing in Germany and Croatia.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Dolliver Memorial Cemetery, 12 Lincoln Street, Gloucester. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
