Margarette Hafele, of Margaretville, NY, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 4, 1932 in Margaretville, the daughter of the late Chancey and Florence (Place) Winne.

Margarette was married to Wallace Hafele, who predeceased her.

She is survived by her daughter Tina McClung and her family.

Burial will be in Sanford Cemetery, New Kingston.
