Hillarhry Janine Johnson 43 to was born to Helen J. Johnson and Alan Townsend on February 24,1982 in the city of South Bend, IN. She departed this life on April 27, 2025, at 4 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center after an extended illness.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Patterson, five children, King Dallas Patterson, Day’Onna Patterson, Dalace Shanai Helene Patterson, Lawrence William Johnson, and Jay’Quan Anthony Reid (Rhonie) and one grandson, Riley A. Reid. She is also survived by her mother, Helen J Johnson Ursery (Roy) and a stepfather Robert Ursery, four brothers, William M Johnson (Eleana) of Mesa AZ; Dr. Michael K Blanchard of Florida, Mark Townsend, and Damien Townsend of South Bend, and a sister, Kelley D. Blount of Las Vegas, NV. Two very special god brothers Kenny Phillips Sr (Nicole), Craig Perry (Raina)and a special godsister, Betrice Perry Roberts (Vance)all who have been very close to Hillarhry her entire life. **A very special godmother, Gloria Stokes, who called her Princess at birth. 

Hillarhry was an exceptional, intellectual scholar and loved to read books since she was 5 yo. She was always on the honor roll through grade school, high school and the dean’s list in Bethel University where she studied business and accounting. She loved to cook for her children and husband, finding new recipes online to try. Her focus was always on her children firsthand, and she would attend school activities and concerts often. She and Dallas always planned special celebrations for each child’s birthday and holidays as there was no limit.

Hillarhry fought the goodfight against cancer becoming a tough warrior in every possible sense imaginable. Rest on Princess, we shall miss you but to know you are no longer suffering and at peace gives us peace as well.

The family wishes to thank Dr Sanitinia and Comprehensive Cancer Center of Nevada, Southern Hills Hospital of Las Vegas, and St Joseph Medical Center of Mishawaka for their extensive medical care and treatment. Special Thanks to Dallas, Jay’Quan, Lawrence, Dalace, Day’Onna and King for the supportive care and love given to my daughter Hillarhry.✝️
