Margaret Fern Patton Obituary
Margaret Fern (Hawkins) Patton, age 77, of Ellettsville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Owen County, Indiana on December 31, 1947 to Elmer G. and Rachael (Smith) Hawkins. Margaret worked as waitress for many years and enjoyed reading and studying the bible. She was a member of the Whitehall Pentecostal Church.
Margaret is survived by her grandsons, Mark Skirvin and Jonathon Ewell-Skirvin; siblings, Linda Dwyer, Mary Corbin, Shirley Brock, and Charles Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eugene Hawkins, Earl Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins, Rachel Baugh, Susie "Lulabell" Hawkins, Francis West, Mary Ellen Hawkins, and Helen Anna Hawkins.
Graveside services for Margaret will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Indiana on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2 p.m.
