Snowflake Hines West End, North Carolina Obituary

Snowflake Hines

Someone we loved dearly died on February 27, 2019. It was our beloved 17 year old cat, Snowflake. She was a sweet and loving cat who as a kitten would fetch like a dog and as an adult would follow you from room to room much like a puppy. She will be missed for her infamous ragdoll pose of which she exhibited when feeling overwhelmed. Her favorite person in the whole world was my daughter Ilyse. Ilyse taught her how to be a cat by showing her how to clean herself, climb stairs and take the infamous cat naps throughout the day. Snowflake was always there for Ilyse through “thick and thin” and now she is gone forever. She was a very regal cat of substance and grace and a star in her own right. She would lay and lick my daughter through the most difficult times in life and she will be sorely missed. Just because she was a cat does not make her death any less real or important as we miss her daily and suffer the pain of losing her. No other being or animal could ever take her place. Although she was 17 years old you never would have known it until her last week on earth. She is now in heaven running around with Auntie Donna, Petie, Tess and Trista where she waits patiently for us. Farewell my dear sweet kitty. I will always love you and will look to you and the other loved ones to guide and comfort me as I transition into heaven. And “Oh what a beautiful day that will be” to see Jesus with my loved ones whole, complete, free of pain and suffering and full of life and vigor Forever. Your faithful care taker, Thea
