Elisabeth Seaman, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Valley View Nursing Health and Rehabilitation in Madison, AL. She was born October 23, 1933, in Solingen, Germany. 

Elisabeth moved to the United States in her early adulthood at which point she became an educator in Early Childhood Education. After working in education for several years, she worked as a Bookkeeper with Dunagan, Yates, and Alison Cosmetic Surgery Center for almost 25+ years. 

Elisabeth was independent and strong willed allowing her to live a long healthy life. In her spare time and retirement, she loved spending time in her garden, reading, crocheting and time with her great grandchildren. She had a heart and kindness unmatched but never wavering from being herself, while touching many people’s lives in a positive way. She spent years on ballfields, horse barns, church wither her grandson, and other sporting events raising her children and grandchildren. 

Elisabeth is survived by sons, Mike, Bob, & Troy; her daughter, Kim; and grandchildren, Nick, Ashley, Sean, Josh, & Ross, as well as many great grandchildren (who knew her as Oma). 

Elisabeth was always very structured and planned ahead for everything. She asked that there be nothing fancy and no ceremonies but rather asked that an intimate ceremony among family be shared in her honor for her celebration of life. All prayers and support are greatly appreciated by the family during this time.
