Mr. Melvin Davis Stephens of South Boston, VA died on Sunday, April 27th at the age of 67.

Mr. Stephens was born September 11, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to the late Ms. Elizabeth “Bet” Stephens. He joined Greater Brandon Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

Mr. Stephens survived by (1) sister, Shirley Owen (Harold) of South Boston, VA; (1) brother, Ronnie Stephens of the home; (1) nephew, Marlo Owen (Samantha); (1) niece, Nakisha Logan; great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Melvin Davis Stephens will be Monday, May 5th at noon at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Brandon, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service.
