Heidi Barbara Crussemeyer, 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Elkhart General Hospital from extensive health issues.
Heidi was born November 3, 1949, in Elkhart to the late Henry “Pete” Crussemeyer and Elfriede (Frohlich) Crussemeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Justin Bachman.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Leslie (Billy) Bachman, granddaughters, Angelica (Scott) Stephenson, Sarah (Josh Young) Bachman, great granddaughter Olivia and Allison Stephenson. Also, a brother Randy (Lisa) Crussemeyer and sister Julie M. Meyer. Nieces Kennedy Meyer, Tucson, AZ, Savannah Crussemeyer, nephews Aaron Crussemeyer, Bradenton FL, and Jimmy (Jasmine) Meyer, with great nieces Janessa and Juliette Meyer. Also, a special Aunt Helga “Maria” Richards, Vandalia, MI.
Heidi graduated from Elkhart High School. She worked many years at Selmer’s musical instruments and various nursing homes in Elkhart.
She enjoyed her time at Belmont Church. She enjoyed taking care of people. She spent her life taking care of her family and friends. Her life was filled with adventure for sure. She was a very caring, loving person and we will all miss her dearly.
There will be no viewing. She will be buried at Rice Cemetery. Celebration of life will be at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
