Mr. Guillermo Hernandez, 77, passed away on April 26, 2025, from an accident. He is the son of Hermino and Carmen Huerta Hernandez. Mr. Guillermo is preceded in death by one son, Guillermo Hernandez, two daughters, Socorro and Sonia Hernandez, one brother, Jose Hernandez, and three sisters, Maria Luisa, Maria, and Yolanda Hernandez.  Mr. Guillermo had made Lake City his home for the past thirty-six years after moving here from Chicago, IL; he enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, and he was a people person and very photogenic.

Mr. Guillermo is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Luz Hernandez, Lake City, FL, two sons, Miguel Hernandez (Mari) and Gustavo Hernandez (Amie), both of Lake City, FL., one brother, Hermino Hernandez, Texas, four sisters Concepsion, Marta, Petra, and Candelaria Hernandez.  Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00P.M.
