Gordon Edward Lowen passed away peacefully with loved ones at his side at Belleville General Hospital on April 26th, 2025, at the age of 60. Formal husband of Darlene Lowen. Loving step father to Shelly Belyea. And Father to Karen Lowen and Sean Lowen. Cherished grandfather to Morgan Belyea, Taylor McEwen-Lowen, Nicholas Geertsma, Bryanna McEwen-Lowen, Dustin Fudge and Skyla Fudge and great grandfather to Avalynn Belyea-Kippen, Addison Belyea, Connor Wilson, Livia Geertsma, and Ameliah Belyea. He is survived by his siblings Bob, Jakie, Diana and Barry. Predeceased by his parents Jacob D Lowen and Thlema G Lowen and his siblings Donna, Betty-Ann, and Ron. Born in Kelowna BC and a resident of the Quinte West area since 1993. Gordon worked at Pillsbury Bakeries and Food Services and as a Taxi Driver for both ABC and Sidney Taxi Trenton. He had volunteered at any given chance he got. Gord had fulfilled his long lasting life by surrounding himself around family and loved ones, and interests such as cooking, fishing, watching hockey games. He loved giving and always made sure others had more than himself. Gordon L. will be greatly missed by many.
