Mrs. Sally Sue Thompson, 81, of Clarksburg, MD passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born June 11, 1943, in Frederick, MD to the late Emmett and Lucille Pearre. She was a loving and devoted wife to the late Alvin Wayne (Juggs) Thompson. They were married for 45 years at the time of his passing on May 30, 2010.

Sally followed a lot of family members to Hyattstown Volunteer Fire Department where she was once part of the Ladies Auxiliary.  Sally was a graduate of Gaithersburg High school. She worked at National Geographic for many years and retired from there. Sally enjoyed spending time with family, watching her granddaughter dance and her grandson play football, picking kids up after school. She also loved going to the racetrack to watch her son Jeff drive a Sprint Car.

Sally is survived by her brother Dennis Pearre, son Jeffrey and wife Cathy, grandson Nicholas Cavell, granddaughter Samanth Gross husband Kevin and Great Grandson Whalen Gross. 

Sally is preceded in death by her brothers Emmett Jr. (Pete) Pearre, Jerry Pearre, Larry Pearre and sisters Molly Ann Geisbert and Donna Gordon.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 5th at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md.  20872 from 10: a.m. until funeral services begins at 11 am.  Interment will immediately follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Md.
