Romaine S. Miller Obituary
Romaine S. (Henry) Miller, age 92, of Spring Grove, passed away on April 27, 2025 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Glenn E. Miller who passed away on December 7, 2006; together they shared 56 years of marriage.
Romaine was born in Spring Grove, PA on March 24, 1933 and was the daughter of the late David and Agnes Henry. She worked as a parttime custodian at Spring Grove Area High School and at the market stand for Wolfgang Candy for over 20 years. Romaine enjoyed traveling and reading and was an avid Baltimore Orioles, Penn State Football, and NASCAR fan. She was also a member of Black Rock Church of the Brethren in Glenville.
Romaine is survived by her children Cheryl Yohe and husband Jim, Glenda Krump and husband Harry, Wanda Miller, Brian Miller and wife Lynn, Karen Leppo and husband Roger, Melanie Roomsburg and husband Marc, and Neal Miller and wife Rae; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Romaine was preceded in death by her son-in-law Craig Miller; her grandson Jared Orner; and her sister Ann Quickle.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Romaine’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Rd., Glenville, PA 17329 with Pastor Brandon Grady officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at the church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 and on Tuesday from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the service at Black Rock Church of the Brethren.
