Gary Eugene Gosnell, of Cross Hill, SC passed away on April 26, 2025, with his son by his side.
Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army and later became a machinist and retired as shop foreman. In his life after, he found joy in the simple and meaningful things — fishing by the water’s edge, having fun with family and friends and traveling the country.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Gosnell (Esther), his beloved grandsons, Luke and Wyatt Gosnell, who brought him great pride and joy and his girlfriend Phyllis Bradshaw who took loving care of him in his last years. Gary was preceded in death by his son, Clint and wife, Nancy.
Gary’s life was marked by dedication — to his family, his country, and the life he built. He will be remembered for his giving heart, hardworking spirit, and the deep desire to help those around him. He will not only be missed by his biological family, but the family he gained while serving in the Army, working at Master Machine Works in Camp Croft and enjoying the company of the people of Skipper’s Landing and Lake Greenwood.
