Donna J. Johnson passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, at her home, in Syracuse, at the age of 63. She was born in Syracuse on May 18, 1961 to Robert and Erma Johnson. She attended East Syracuse Minoa CSD and graduated in 1979. She was a 25+ year veteran as an AEMT (level 3) for EAVES Ambulance and then 20+ years at Crouse Hospital as a Critical Care Technician in the Emergency Department. She touched countless lives with her compassion and medical expertise.

Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her siblings: brothers, Paul and Raymond; sister, Lou Ann Huftle; brother-in-law, Raymond Huftle; and her spouse, Barbara L. Randall. She is survived by sister-in-laws, Kathy Eden of Colorado, Bonnie Bloomer of North Rose, NY, Beverly Garrison (Scott) of Waterloo, NY; brother- in-law, James Randall (Vickie) of North Rose, NY; nephew, Sean Johnson (Yuliana) of Texas; niece, Jessica Sanders (Casey), of Colorado; and many, many friends.

Donna enjoyed traveling, spending time at casinos, going on cruises and was a devoted Syracuse Orange fan.

A memorial service for Donna will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel in Minoa, NY, with visitation from 1 pm to 3pm, and service at 3 pm. Family and friends are invited to a small gathering after the service at Donna’s home at 4 pm. A private, family burial service will be held at a later date.
