Christopher Ryan Palacios, a cherished father, son, brother, and uncle, tragically left this world at the age of 44 on April 26, 2025, due to a house fire in his hometown of Banning, California. Born on August 5, 1980, he was full of joy and laughter, touching the lives of those around him with his loving and adventurous spirit. He leaves behind a family who truly adored him.
Chris, as he was affectionately known as, was a proud graduate of Banning High School. His commitment to personal growth led him to further his education at Maric College, where he honed the skills that would serve him throughout his professional life. Chris had many talents and held a variety of jobs including the cash cage at Morongo Casino, construction, and being a payroll specialist at local hospitals.
He loved sports but wasn't just a fan, he also found joy in coaching football and baseball. He took immense pride in coaching his son Christion's travel ball team and son Ethen's football team. Chris was always their biggest cheerleader.
When he wasn't coaching or working, Chris, was probably at a concert where he reveled in the music and the shared experience with friends and family. His sense of adventure and fun-loving nature made him the perfect concert companion, creating memories that would be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to join him.
Chris was a loving father to Christion Ryan Palacios and Ethen Isaiah Palacios, who inherited their dad's sense of humor and spirited nature. He is survived by his father, John Gilbert Palacios Sr.; his sister, Stephanie Lynn Fish; his brother, Patrick Allen Palacios; and an adoring extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply.
Preceded in death by his caring mother, Dora Palacios; his brothers, Don Michael Palacios, Don Michael Palacios, Mark Anthony Palacios, and John Gilbert Palacios Jr.; as well as his nephew, Wayne Allen Fish Jr.
Those who knew Chris will remember him as a man who lived life to the fullest, with a smile that could light up a room. He was the embodiment of love, always ready with a helping hand or a comforting word. Chris was the kind of guy who could find humor in just about anything. He had a knack for not taking life too seriously but making those around him feel loved. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever be a guiding light and his memory will continue to shine brightly
