Grace Coco Loiacono Obituary
Grace Coco Loiacono passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the age of 93.
Grace was born on October 16, 1931, in Mansura, Louisiana. She was the last surviving child of nine siblings born to Antoine Coco and Elizanne Rachael Coco.
She owned and operated Wonderland School from 1960 until 1990 in Metairie, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Nunzio Loiacono.
Grace leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children: Anthony, Angela, and Nick (Kerri). She was a proud grandmother to Anthony Jr., Nicholas, Gino, Mario, and Nick Jr., and a beloved great-grandmother to Allie and Aria.
She also held a special place in her heart for her step-grandchildren, Charles and Jeanne (Dave), and her step-great-grandchildren, Ava, Ayden, and Ryan.
Grace’s memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
