Connie Wilburn Woodruff, age 83 passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born January 9, 1942 to the late Woodrow and Faye Fields Woodruff. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilburn A. Woodruff, one brother, Franklin Woodruff and one sister, Margaret Cron. He is survived by his wife, Verna Woodruff; one brother, James Woodruff; two stepsisters, Betty Dass, JoAnn Gunter; four stepchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Wilburn at 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 1, 2025 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Elder David Ives officiating. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
