He was born on January 1, 1954 to LeRoyce Durham and Betty Jean Burton.
Royce, a proud graduate from Stewartsville High School and later earned his BS in Law Enforcement from Missouri Western, dedicated his professional life to law enforcement services as a Police Officer where he served his community with honor and integrity.
Royce was an animal lover through and through, embracing all creatures with a boundless heart.
Royce's memory will be cherished by his several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
