We bid farewell to our father, Ronald Charles Hodges Jr, who departed from this world on April 26th, 2025 at the age of 63. Ron was born on November 23, 1961 in Oak Park, Illinois to Ronald Charles & Mary Rose Hodges. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent and memory made with his loved ones. His passions for gardening, photography, cooking, and the Cubs will remain dear to our hearts and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

Ron is rejoined with his parents Ron Charles & Mary Rose Hodges, his brother Tom Hodges, and sister Patricia Dettmann. He is survived by his two children Kathryn Rose & Ronald Charles III Hodges, sister Kathy (Joe) Conway, nieces Sara (John) Levanchy, Kayla (Jared) Scinto, & Whitley Hodges and nephews Jack Conway & Jason Christensen and his long time friend Bonnie Brewick who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 2-4 PM in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Remembrances will begin at 4:00 PM.
