Linda Marie Peterson Bailey, 77, of Abita Springs, La., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in a local care center.  She was born on October 23, 1947, in New Orleans, La. to Warren and Lillian Castillion Peterson and was a graduate of West Jefferson High School Class of 1965.  Linda was a strong, loving, and caring person who was always there for those in need.  She enjoyed her frequent visits to the casino, so much that her nickname was “Hollywood” to some.  Linda also loved seeing one of her favorite bands, Harvey Jesus and Fire Band with her sister, Phyllis, and spending quality time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Frederick Bailey Jr., Son, Frederick Bailey III, and Parents, Warren & Lillian Peterson.

Linda is survived by her Son, Heath A. Bailey Sr., Daughter, Brandi Rodi Treadway, 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on May 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Abita Springs Cemetery.  Deacon Mike Talbot will officiate.
