Susan “SueSue” New, 54, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 26, 2025.

She was born on November 13, 1970, in Gallia County, Ohio, to the late Leonard and Charlene Wilson New. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie Sue Wilson and Kathy Perry.

Susan was a resilient woman who made the most of what she had to care for her family. She had a deep love for the outdoors, especially spending time on the lake, fishing, and enjoying fast cars. A homemaker at heart, she was known for her generous spirit and kind heart.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Shelena Doss; four cherished grandchildren: Aryanna, Zakhia, Steven, and Mason; her dear friend, Jeff Smith; devoted niece, Leslie Baker, and Leslie’s five children. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and close friends who will miss her dearly.
